Hi To all, I would know the difference between frenquency and pitch or are the same?
For example I saw that the pitch is between 0 and 1. Which is the relation?

They mean the same thing… But changing frequency on a group is done with pitch because there may be sounds of various (overall) frequencies playing. So you would not be able to set the frequency of a group to 1000Hz without causing odd results.

pitch 1 means the sound plays at it’s original speed…. .5 is half the speed 10 is 10 times the speed.

a 10KHz at .5 becomes a 5KHz file

a midi file is typicaly 48KHz… pitch .5 would turn it into 24KHz

GetFrequency will not return the frequency changed with pitch, it returns the original frequency.

GetFrequency will return the modified frequency when SetFrequency is used
