How to solve this problem? thx

Use search option first, there are many problems that kind on forum. You have to make sure that you’ve linked correctly *.lib files. I got the same problem, and the reason was that I’ve linked and included files for 64 bit window’s version when I work on 32 😉

Another cause could be the compiler that you’re using. If you’re using a GCC variant, you’ll have to use the C API instead of the C++ API.

I use VC++ 2003 as a compiler. the lib file does perform good when i use Fmod in other projects. But in this certain workplace, I failed to work.
I have searched the FAQ section, but i don’t think it will work.

I just want to know why? One program shows correct output result, but the other shows linking errors with the same configuration. is it strange?
