Hi, I’m new at using FMOD and i’ve been having a bit of trouble…

I’m loading several WAV samples , and I use some of them with FSOUND_3D_SetAttributes to set their position.

The problem is i have one sample which i want to use without the 3D effects…

Even though i tried in several ways, as long as i use FSOUND_3D_Listener_SetAttributes all the wav’s are bearely earable.

I can understand if using this comand would make WAV’s use predefined values for 3D enviroment even when i do not specify them.

But, then, how do i make sure that a particular sample or channel plays without the 3D effects, fading, doppler, etc?

One thing i noticed is that using mp3 there is no 3d effect, no fading, doppler, etc.

So, so i have to convert all my wav’s into mp3 if i want to use them as ambiance sound,or is there a way to specify if i want or not that a certain sample or channel is 3D affected?

Thnks for your help

I found out..just have to give Sample_SetMinMaxDistance a big minimum distance, and never specify a position for the sample i want to use as an environment effect…
