Hello! I have experience with FMOD in Windows system, using C++ and VisualBasic. But now, I change to Linux and C# (Developed using vim+commandline and monodevelop, I try the both methods for now).

When I download the FMOD api for linux 32 bits, and decompress the tar.gz, I see that doesn’t exist examples in C# (in windows exist a folder called examples_cshard, but in linux version doesn’t exist).

Anybody can help me to start a building a FMOD based C# application under linux? I use glade to design GUI and bind to the code using libglade for Gtk#.

Any kind of information releatet with Fmod, C# and Linux, become good for me (an examples, sources…)

Thanks for your help and your time!

PS: Do you know if future versions, include this examples in linux version?

Mike

Well, it’s the C api that is being used by C#, it’s just wrapped by calls to native code; the wrapper should be pretty much the same and you could probably just copy it and change the name given to DLLImport. This is more of a question for the monodevelop folks, though. There’s some information available at [url:1791u4cg]http://www.mono-project.com/Interop_with_Native_Libraries[/url:1791u4cg] that might point you in the right direction.
