I am trying to experiment with basic stitching using the interactive music menu. I have got two segments linked in order. The two segments are just a simple audio file split in two parts. When laid back to back in any audio program like sound forge, pro tools, audacity, it plays seamlessly (just like it did when it was a single file). When I audition the theme in the music tab or the music player there is a glitch at the point where the two audio files stitch together. I have a cue with 1 theme with 2 segments. Segment 1 is the first part of the file, segment 2 is the second part of the file. I have segment 1 linked to segment 2. Segment 1 is set as the start segment and segment two is set as the stop segment. When I play the resulting cue the audio file plays in the expected order but with a very noticeable glitch at the stitch point. I have set the wave bank to force software = yes. It didn’t seem to change anything. Is there something that can be done to fix the transition that glitches???

Nevermind, I figured it out with the help from another thread. The problem was with the tempo that is necessary for each segment. Since I wasn’t using any flourishes, and only doing simple stitching, I didn’t think it was necessary to put in the tempos for each segment. I didn’t realize that the links between segments are based on the tempo.
