Hi Brett/Andrew,

I am using FMODCE.dll APIs in One of my projects using .NET CF 2.0 and C# in Windows mobile.
Strange thing is that FMODCE functions like FSOUND_Stream_Open, FSOUND_Stream_Play etc.. work fine on devices having Windows mobile 5.0(like HTC 2125, PPC 6700 etc..) but FAILS on higher version devices i.e. devices having [color=yellow:1per60rn]Windows mobile 6.0[/color:1per60rn] installed.
May I know why this would be happening? and Does FMODCE team working on the same?
We are really happy with its result on WM5.0 and we really want to use it in WM6.0 devices.
Thanks in advance.
Samar,

we dont support FMOD 3 at the moment for future development, my recommendation if you were using a licensed version of fmod is to recompile fmodce yourself for that version of the operating system and test it.

I just played a mp3 file on my treo 800w (windows mobile 6.1) device and it worked. It was built in vs2005 so I’m assuming it loaded the .net cf 2.0 runtime on the 800w.
