[b:3ge5tmze]Feature Request: [/b:3ge5tmze]

ChannelGroup::[b:3ge5tmze]remove[/b:3ge5tmze]Group(ChannelGroup* g)

as opposed to

FMOD_RESULT ChannelGroup::addGroup(
FMOD::ChannelGroup * group
);

i wonder why this isn’t in there yet, it looks like it isn’t trivial. But i guess
you all know what it would make possible, if both add() and remove() functions were there…

so please, Brett, or soemone else, let me know if this will be implemented soon or how i could emulate this function.

I mean, eventually i would be able to write a workaround, but i don’t like to

okies, evaluating a bit more now, thx in advance

Since a ChannelGroup can only belong to one ChannelGroup, you could workaround this issue in the meantime by add()ing your channel group to the Master channel group.

Yes what dogbert said is the answer. It is called add because you can add multiple child groups to a parent. A child can never belong to multiple parents. The normal procedure is to just move it back to the master group or just delete it all together with release. We don’t allow or believe in ‘orphan groups’ that are not connected.
