I’m trying to make an event that consists of three wave banks, two that are randomly played at the beginning, and one that is played at the end.In other words, the first two sounds should randomize their order but always be followed by the end sound.

The way I have it set up is this:

The two beginning wavebanks are together in a single sound definition with a Play Mode of ‘RandomNoRepeats’, and the end wavebank is in its own sound definition with a Play Mode of ‘Sequential’. In the event editor, I have two the two sound definitions inserted. The beginning sounds have a start mode of ‘Immediate’ and a loop mode of ‘One Shot’, and the ending sound has a start mode of ‘Wait for Previous’ and a loop mode of ‘One Shot’.

What ends up happening is that one or the other beginning sound will trigger which gets followed by the end sound. However the beginning two won’t randomize.

I also tried inserting two instances of the beginning sound in the event editor, and all three wavebanks would playback, but the first two would not randomize after triggering the event multiple times. Any advice as to what I’m doing wrong here?

Thanks!

Nevermind :) I figured it out. Instead of setting the playmode of subsequent sounds to ‘wait for previous’, I set them all to immediate and it works.
