I have 1 sound that I loop in a certain scene (ocean waves). But I’d like to fire off the sounds of some seagulls and shiphorns every 3-5 minutes. Is there a way to do this periodically in FMOD or do I just need to call it from my own timer function? 😮

You have to do it yourself. Do not call fmod functions from timer functions you have to call all fmod api functions from the same thread. Use a timeGetTime type function instead and just trigger your sound after a certain time has passed.
