Almost embarrassed to be asking…

Doing a simple test with some of the effects. I add a basic effect to a layer, and play the sound. Some effects I hear…others I don’t.

Example of what I hear…volume, pitch

What I don’t hear are things such as a simple lowpass, flange, eq

I do raise and lower the cutoff value for the lowpass (on a looping sound) yet I hear no changes whatsoever. I even tried creating a curve covering the full range of the cutoff, and then I manually drag the event parameter around. No change in sound at all.

Yet if I do the same with a simple volume effect it works fine.

I have the platform set to PC.

I must be doing something really dumb ๐Ÿ˜‰

Help please?

It’s Designer’s fault, not yours. I think there was a build or two with this issue. Some effects could only be heard post-build… not in Designer. If you download the latest version, you will not get this problem.

cheers,
