Which version and platform are you running? I can’t reproduce the problem on Mac with the current release (4.17.06).

Does it happen for any reverb definition?

version 4.17.06 for any platfom and my OS is winXP and yes it happens with every reverb my event has 6 layers with volume effects on every layer. and low pass filters on 2 layers. the reverb is only on 1 layer. so when I activate it in the reverb tab and press play in the event editor tab it crashes after a couple seconds.

When you say reverb is only on a single layer, are you inserting a SFX reverb effect on the layer (in addition to the system wide reverb) or are you using a reverb balance (or level) effect to set the reverb level for the layer?

I was unable to reproduce this error (I only have a Mac at home), could you possibly send the project file (fdp) to support@fmod.org?
