Is there a (easy) way to make all sounds immediately play in 2D (use for switching between game and editor mode)

You would have to iterate through channels or events and set the mode or property to be 2d instead of 3d.

That would actually overwrite everything though, so you might want to use set3DPanLevel instead, so that the original 2d/3d status of each channel doesnt get screwed up.
