I am having trouble figuring out why the doppler factor is not working with our events. I have sounds that are attached to moving models through the game. I move the character (listening perspective) next to the path of the object. As the object gets closer the sound gets louder as expected, and is panned to the correct place, but there is no doppler effect. I have tried turning the doppler factor all the way up to "5" to see if it was just very subtle, but nothing. I then auditioned the same event in Fmod Designer. I noticed the same problem, up until a certain speed. It seemed that once the 3d audition reached a certain speed (units per second) that the doppler effect kicked in. Is there a minimum relative speed for the doppler effect to be in effect? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
