I’m having some issues with the Fadein time/Fadeout time properties in Designer not working. Basically a fadeout doesn’t happen, and a fadein results in no sound. Checking the events, everything seems to be playing properly, but the audibilty is not changing. I am calling EventSystem::update() every tick, but it’s not helping.

Also I’m having problems with 3D sounds appearing to stay still even though the positions (of both the events and the listener) are being updated, I can’t help but wonder if this is related to the first problem.

update() returns an FMOD_OK result every time (although not calling it results in no difference to the way any of the sounds behave). Is there something I could be doing/not doing to make the sound events not be updated properly? Does anyone know?

Hi,
Are your events working as expected in FMOD Event Player?

Without more information, It’s hard to say what (if anything) you’re doing wrong. Could you email a small project and simple code example that demonstrates the problems you’re having to support@fmod.org ?
