Hi,

a little question: in the Reference, v3.5.0, we have:

[quote:alnuls24]FSOUND_CAPS_HARDWARE 0x1 /* This driver supports hardware accelerated 3d sound. /
FSOUND_CAPS_EAX2 0x2 /
This driver supports EAX 2 reverb /
FSOUND_CAPS_GEOMETRY_OCCLUSIONS 0x4 /
This driver supports (A3D) geometry occlusions /
FSOUND_CAPS_GEOMETRY_REFLECTIONS 0x8 /
This driver supports (A3D) geometry reflections /
FSOUND_CAPS_EAX3 0x10 /
This driver supports EAX 3 reverb */ [/quote:alnuls24]

but, in the 3.6.0, we have now:

[quote:alnuls24]FSOUND_CAPS_HARDWARE 0x1 /* This driver supports hardware accelerated 3d sound. /
FSOUND_CAPS_EAX2 0x2 /
This driver supports EAX 2 reverb /
FSOUND_CAPS_EAX3 0x10 /
This driver supports EAX 3 reverb */ [/quote:alnuls24]

Have the geometry occlusion and geometry reflection been removed ? I havent found they in the header, too…

And a bug in the Ref 3.6.0:

the file “FSOUND_GetCurrentVU.html” exist, but the link to it in the left frame of the Ref dont exist…

Another little thing:

[quote:2cguepvw]DLL_API void F_API FSOUND_3D_Listener_SetRolloffFactor(
F_FLOAT_API factor
);

Parameters
sptr The sample to have its rolloff factor set.

rolloff The rolloff factor to set for this sample. Valid ranges are 0 to 10.

Return Value
On success, TRUE is returned.
On failure, FALSE is returned.[/quote:2cguepvw]

The parameters and return value in the description are wrong, arent they ?

the parameter is just “factor”, and the function dont return a boolean but a void… Im I wrong ?

and another:

[quote:3hyhcm3c]FSOUND_FX_SetWavesReverb
Sets the parameters for the Waves Reverb effect on a particular channel

signed char F_API FSOUND_FX_SetWavesReverb(
int fxid,
float InGain,
float ReverbMix,
float ReverbTime,
float HighFreqRTRatio
);

Parameters
channel Channel number/handle to set Waves Reverb parameters for.

InGain Input gain of signal, in decibels (dB), in the range from -96 through 0. The default value is 0 dB.

ReverbMix Reverb mix, in dB, in the range from -96 through 0. The default value is 0 dB.

ReverbTime Reverb time, in milliseconds, in the range from .001 through 3000. The default value is 1000.

HighFreqRTRatio In the range from .001 through .999. The default value is 0.001.

Return Value
On success, TRUE is returned.
On failure, FALSE is returned.[/quote:3hyhcm3c]

I think that:
[quote:3hyhcm3c]channel Channel number/handle to set Waves Reverb parameters for.[/quote:3hyhcm3c]
must be remplaced by:
[quote:3hyhcm3c]fxid A single fx enum value to set Waves Reverb parameters for.[/quote:3hyhcm3c]

In fact, after a look, I think that’s a problem for all the FX functions, except Enable and Disable…
