How do I insert random intervals of silence between instances of an event that plays a list of random wav files from a single sound definition?

Example: I have 4 sounds (4 individual .wav files) that I want to play as random oneshots from a single point in space with random intervals of silence between each playback.
I have a single sound event referencing a single sound definition which houses the 4 wav files. I’ve set the ‘Sound Instance Property’ to "Loop and play to end", in order to create a constant triggering of the event while the player is in the area.
I’ve set the "spawn time" of the sound definition to [20000-45000], assuming this will create a 20-45sec interval of silence between each retriggering of the wav files. However, I don’t get the interval of silence. Each wav file plays immediately after each other.

How do I get the interval of silence?

1) Go to the Sound Definition, and set its play mode to "Random", "RandomNoRepeat" or "Shuffle" and set the Spawn time to your preference.

2) Go to Event Editor, and add the sound into the Event as "Oneshot". (or set the existing sound to Oneshot thru its sound instance properties)

3) Press Play. You should hear the sound repeat at the spawn time intervals.

At least it worked like that on my system. :)

Ah, I set my Event as "Looping". I’ll try it as one shot and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
