Dear everyone,

I am new here and would like to build a simple DSP effect just to learn from it and the increasing its complexity one-by-one. I have revised the examle code of the reverb effect. But didn’t fully understand it.

So can anyone help me with a very small sample that illustrates the DSP functions. My suggestion for a simple effect is fade-in and fade-out. All what I want is doing a simple processing on the data buffer before playing it.

From this tutorial, http://52.88.2.202/docs/tutorials/dsp.htm, I think that the stage that I want is in between priority 200-900.

Plz help me in starting using this wonderful library.

Thanks a Lot in advance

That documentation is for fmod3, which has it’s own section of the forums: http://52.88.2.202/forum/viewforum.php?f=2

DSPs work a bit differently in FMOD Ex. For some information you can look at the "Tutorials" / "FMOD Ex advanced DSP Engine" part of the fmodex.chm that comes with the engine. There is example code for creating your own DSP in the example project called "dsp_custom".
