I’m working on my first project using FMOD and we are constantly finding a need to change effect parameters for a whole bunch of sounds together, kind of like a submix group rather than for just one Event. For example – if you wanted to adjust reverb [i:33imcplk]Length[/i:33imcplk] and [i:33imcplk]wet/dry mix[/i:33imcplk] when a camera zooms in/out on a 2D sidescroller – you’d want almost all in-game sounds to be effected in the same way, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to set this kind of thing up from the Designer.
I found this post that suggests the "effect event" system is in the pipeline, which seems like what we’re after:

So can anyone tell me if this is something we can expect soon??
Apologies if I’m missing something that’s already been implemented here! I’m aware that we can achieve what we want with the help of a programmer, but I’m quite surprised that the Event Parameter system – which seems pretty powerful and flexible – is only for single Events.
