Hey,

I"m relatively new to using FMOD. I"m trying to load an mp3 into a stream and keep it looping until the program exits. So far the command I"m using is

result = sys->createStream(path , FMOD_LOOP_NORMAL, 0, &_Sound );

where path is the correct path to the audio resource. Every time I’ve started the program I get a FMOD_ERR_FILE_NOTFOUND error.

I’ve confirmed that the path is correct and the file is there as well.

Anyone have any insight as to why fmod might not be loading the file?

Two things to check off the top of my head:
1.) If you’re using backslashes in your path, make sure that you’ve escaped the backslashes (‘\’).
2.) The working directory when running in the debugger is not always what you’d expect it to be. If you’re using relative paths, then make sure that your working directory is what you think it is.

Hope that helps!
