Hi,

I tried to play back an MP3 sound that was created with the lame encoder using an average bitrate (not variable bitrate) preset.
I created the sound paused. Then I set the playback position by calling Channel::setPosition. This succeeded. But why I started playback by calling Channel::setPaused the sound started noticeably earlier than the position I set. I tried the same with the same sound encoded with constant and variable bitrate as well as in uncompressed wave format. In the latter cases all seemed to work well.

Does creating the sound with FMOD_ACCURATETIME help at all?
