Hi,

I’ve made a player using FMod. Everything works ok but when my application doesn’t have the focus and start to play, no sound come out :( . When my application has the focus back, it start to play.

The version of FMod.dll is 3.6

Does anybody know what happen??

You need to specify the GlobalFocus flag when initializing fmod.

Example:
[code:2eku6gpf]
FSOUND_Init 44100, 32, FSOUND_INIT_ACCURATEVULEVELS Or FSOUND_INIT_GLOBALFOCUS

OK, Thank you, i’ll try this

I’ve been changing a little bit my implementation so that the FSound intialisation occurs when the window open. Now it works fine. I’ll try your solution but could you tell me what is the difference…

When you initialize with GlobablFocus Fmod wont stop playing when the window goes off focus.
