I’m having difficulty finding any usable instructions on using the ‘Programmer Sound’ sound definition option. From what I’ve seen, the FMOD Designer’s Manual simply tells us what ‘programmer sounds’ are, and not how to use them.

For instance, how do I reference my ‘programmer sound’ event? I assume it requires a look-up table or database or some sort, but what kind? Where does it reside?

Can anyone point me to some info?

At run-time when a ‘programmer sound’ is played it generates a callback which requires the programmer to provide a sound object. Take a look in the event system examples that come with the API, you’ll find an example that demonstrates the use of programmer sounds there.
