What is the reason for this? The usefulness of having the ability to turn off the dry signal so only the wet signal from an event is heard would be very helpful, as that would let us preview what an event would sound like with occlusion and distance all affecting the relationship of the event’s wet and dry level.

But altering the dry level of an event in its properties affects the wet level also when previewing in designer! So turning the dry level right down with a reverb going makes the event silent. Is there a way of reducing the dry level of an event for previewing the effects of a reverb on an event?

Thanks again for the help!

I think ‘dry level’ should be renamed ‘reverb send’ and wet level should be renamed ‘reverb return’.

There should be a checkbox per event to set the reverb send to pre or post event volume.

That would certainly be brilliant: it would make more sense, and be useful. Nice suggestion. I wonder how much of a rewrite of the routing code that would entail?
