Hi everyone!

I know there’s a lot of Fmod pro out there, so I need help of you guys!

I’m currently finishing my last year of college in computering. The subject of my last research is audio manipulation through programming. Basically, what I am trying to do is a program that simulate a multi effect pedal.

I decided to use FMod to achieve this. I know FMod already has some function to simulate those effects, but unfortunately, I am not allowed to use them. The effects I must produce must be home made. I chose four effects to create: Wah-Wah, Talk, Phaser and echo (Reverb).

For now, I have succeeded to record and playback sound from any audio input in my computer. Now, I must manipulate that audio information.

I’m programming that application in C# and I have good programmation skills. However, I haven’t found a lot of documentation about the use of FMod. If someone had a manual of some sort…….

So here’s my question:
How can I manually aquire the sound spectrum, apply modification on it, and playback that sound after?

Thank you for your precious time!

Yep! Check out the custom DSP examples. I’ve not used the C# API much but I think you can do that sort of stuff in it.
