I have a strange occurrence. Using the interactive music engine, I have a Cue with a theme and segment. In the segment I have a 4:30 music file that is set to loop always (no condition). When auditioning in FMod, it loops infinitely but when playing in-game as well as in a bare-bones test app, it plays twice and stops (in other words, it loops once). The segment is flagged as a Stop segment (I tried turning off the stop but it still only plays twice). It is also using a shared timeline but the other Cue using the timeline isn’t currently used. As well, the playback method is Sequential. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,

That does sound odd. Any chance you can send the .fdp and music file to support@fmod.org? We can confirm whether it is a bug, or just a combination of settings causing the problem.

cheers,
Templar

Thanks for the report! This bug has been fixed for next week’s release.

In the meantime, a workaround is to make sure your streaming wave banks have more than one waveform in them (the bug only affects wave banks that have one waveform).
