Ok.. sorry people I have a few questions.
I am running slackware 8.1 and I am trying to install fmod properly.. I am trying to install blockofighter and it needs fmod to compile/play it.
I did this:

Unzip the file with your archive manager ( ark is enough and is distributed with the Mandrake 8.2).
Then copy the *.so lib to your library path ( /usr/lib for exemple) :
cp libfmod-3.5.so /usr/lib
Then, do a symbolique link :
ln -s /usr/lib/libfmod-3.5.so /usr/lib/libfmod.so

and when I try to compile blockofighter it still comes up with error messages like “fmod.h cannot be found etc..” I tried putting the fmod.h into the directory that I was compiling blockofighter in and it went past that stage but came up with MANY more errors about fmod. I am almost positive I didn’t install it properly.. Where am I supposed to put the fmod.h and all the other *.h files there?? This has been so difficult.. Once I finish it I am going to make a slackpack of it and distribute it out to everyone (if that is alright with you guys) ok thanx for all your help sorry to be an inconvience thanx
