I just have a general question about doing Layered Music. I want to make a game where basically as the game gets more intense more music tracks will come in so when nothing is happening you’ll only have a simple beat going like just drums but as the action picks up more instruments would come in. So my question is how can I accomplish this? About the only thing I have found is multi-channel file stuff but I am not a sound designer I am a programmer so some of that stuff is beyond my grasp for the most part. I Found the example in FMOD Designer with the multi-channel and that is pretty much what I would like to do but I am not really sure how it was done since its already completed! Any help would be appreciated Thank You!
