I made a FMOD project on PC A in F MOD DESIGNER and every thing seems OK, and then I copy the whole projects folder to another PC (I call it PC B here ) and I play the event in F MOD DESIGNER on PC B , F MOD states " Invalid parameter, and it cannot play the event . So I try to play the project in F mod event player on PC B , it ‘s no problem !

WHY ?

I try to find the reason, and finally I find when I set the property of the event from 3D to 2D on PC B , it works and then everything goes well ! IF I set back again to 3D F MOD
States : Invalid Parameter ! !!!

I have the same version of F MOD designer installed on both PC …..

I need hep here …..

Thanks !

Maybe they have different sounds cards?

Try setting the project to ‘force software’, does that fix it?

The ‘invalid parameter’ result can mean different things in different contexts. From your description it sounds like your problem is different to the OPs. Regardless, forcing software mixing can often fix these kinds of problems. Like a1psx said set ‘force software’ to Yes it is in the wavebanks tab of FMOD Designer.
