Hi, sorry if this has been already post about this.

The Frequency center that you assigned to modulate can be assigned from 20.0 to 22000.0Hz.

These range values are they related to the waveform or the spectrum of the sound? Or is it something else?

Basically how does it work?

Thanks.

Its not related to anything, it is the centerpoint of the eq band for the output. I guess even though i think your terminology is wrong it would be the ‘spectrum’.

If you play a sound and eq down the 5khz band, then you dont hear frequencies at 5khz.

Ahh ok.
Thanks.

Oh about frequency spectrum, is there any possible way of converting one back in to a wave form?

I’m not sure if this is possible through the FMOD API, but you can convert to and from the frequency domain by using the FFT and IFFT transforms. You can find libraries with these methods online.

Check out http://www.fftw.org for a very flexible library that might fit your application.
