Hi,

I just found out that createSound returns a BAD FILE error when called with an audio cd driver letter in unicode.
Calling createSound with regular ASCII works fine.

That is probably due to the logic that all drive letters are standard ASCII characters.

However I understand that you probably want it to treat say L"D:" as valid also, I will make the necessary modification to allow that to work if you pass in the unicode flag.

Thanks, that’s indeed what I was trying to do. Since I’m using unicode for all path names, it would be easiest if the drive letters can also be passed as wide strings, so that I don’t have to make a difference between cd playback or other file playback.
It’s not that big a deal, but I guess other people might stumble upon this too one day, not immediately seeing why it doesn’t work.

Not a problem, I have just finished implementing the change, it will be in our next release probably towards the end of the week.
