That is probably due to the logic that all drive letters are standard ASCII characters.
However I understand that you probably want it to treat say L"D:" as valid also, I will make the necessary modification to allow that to work if you pass in the unicode flag.
Thanks, that’s indeed what I was trying to do. Since I’m using unicode for all path names, it would be easiest if the drive letters can also be passed as wide strings, so that I don’t have to make a difference between cd playback or other file playback.
It’s not that big a deal, but I guess other people might stumble upon this too one day, not immediately seeing why it doesn’t work.
