I an event with a velocity parameter and a sustain point. In designer, I press the play button, the event starts, reaches the sustain point, and stays on that point until I press KeyOff after which it runs to completion and terminates. This is the exact behavior I need.

In the code (I am using C#), when a signal is sent to start the sound, I have:

event.start();

When the event is to terminate, the signal is received and I have code such as (somewhat pseudo code here):

event.getParameter("time", ref eventParam);
eventParam.keyOff();

Now, the second part is completely useless right now as the event, after calling start(), is playing through to the end and is not stopping on the sustain point. What am I doing wrong?
