I got everything set up as described below but I don’t get multiple playbacks of e.g. a gun shot. Can you see what I’m doing wrong?

in the fmod designer things are setup this way:
– "max playbacks" of the gun/hit event are set to 5
– "maximum spawned sounds" of the corresponding sound instance also set to 5
– the wavebank is decompressed into memory

in the source code the event is handled as follows:
– sounds are loaded with "eventSystem->load", then "eventSystem->getGroup" and then "eventGroups[number]->getEventByIndex"
– events are then triggered with "result = events[eventID]->start();"

All events perfectly play back once but never twice or more often at the same time regardless of the max playbacks setting…

Any help is appreciated!
