Okay, this may be a stupid question, but please help. I am writing a game for Pocket PC and am using FMODCE. I have a thread that is used to do the drawing, and I am also using it to call FMOD functions. Should I be using a thread that is devoted to FMOD? I was under the impression that FMOD created an internal thread in its FSOUND_Init function.

The reason I am asking is that sound quality is very poor. I am getting a lot of static and a ‘staccato’ effect. It sounds like perhaps FMOD is not getting enough time to do the sound processing.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
