Hi. I have two problems.

Everytime I go in Sound Designer and go to preferences, it crashes.

The other is when I try to open Sandbox, it won’t start. In the log, it gives this error.

FMOD: (12) A Win32 COM related error occured. COM failed to initialize or a QueryInterface failed meaning a Windows codec or driver was not installed properly.

I remember that when it did work, I tried switching the audio device to wave writer or something. Could that be the problem?

I tried reinstalling it but no dice and I couldn’t find the registry entries for it.

What should I do?

If both Designer and Sandbox aren’t working properly, it might be due to some bad audio drivers. Have you recently installed any drivers or changed hardware?

That could be a problem. There should be a registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Firelight Technologies\FMOD Sandbox\OutputIndex

If you delete the OutputIndex entry and it should reset to the default output mode for your system.
