I apologize if this info is readily available, but i couldn’t find it for myself quickly.

According to the docs, the supported file formats for the iPhone reduced library don’t seem to include any compressed formats. After building an FSB using the PC/Mac/Linux platform profile with MPEG layer 2 format, and linking against the reduced lib, I got "FMOD error! (25) Unsupported file or audio format." We are using FMOD EX 4.24.02 with SDK 3.0 targetting OS 2.2.1 and I’ve been testing on Simulator.

Are there formats we can use? I’m shooting for reduced code size and memory footprint, so uncompressed files and reduced lib don’t help much.

Thanks,
Ryan

Currently the reduced version only provides PCM, ADPCM and IT codecs. So the only compressed format is ADPCM, which we recommend as it is the least expensive to decode at runtime.
