I just noticed that if you CUT a sound event from an event group to paste it somewhere else, you are prompted to delete the unused sound objects.

The objects wouldn’t at all be unused until they were removed from the clipboard.

I haven’t tried it just yet, but I’m sure deleting the unused objects and then pasting sound events with missing sound definitions would cause some quite unexpected results…

This is not true. A separate copy of the unused objects is stored on the clipbord for use when pasting – see below.

Actually, when you paste the events, any missing sound definitions will be pasted from the clipboard along with them. If this is not the behaviour you are seeing, please let us know!
