The doc page for FSOUND_SetLoopMode mentions ‘The loop mode will only change after it has been played. This is because the channel inherits the SAMPLE’s loop mode upon playback.’

This is a change from 3.5 where you’d set the sample’s loop mode (FSOUND_Sample_SetLoopMode()).

Now, is there in fact a default loop mode associated with a sample? If so, is it accessable?

2nd, the doc page of FSOUND_SetLoopMode() references a function FSOUND_Sample_GetLoopMode() that is obsolete (and you get a ‘page undefined’ error).
