I have a scenario in our game – which I’m trying to avoid, but it is happening at the moment – where some sounds are told to play before they are loaded.
I’m happy for a sound to simply fail if it isn’t loaded.
however, once the sound has loaded, we are getting some strange behaviour where getEvent is returning FMOD_ERR_FILE_UNWANTED.
Is there some reason that the event would get stuck in a "not loaded" state if we happen to getEvent (info only) before it’s loaded??
