Hello,

I’m having a bit of a brain fart today – but that’s probably because of the crazy mix of Objective-C / C++ / C that my code has to deal with. I am using an FMOD callback, but need to access its parent object’s variables. I can access the App Delegate singleton fine, but I need the object from with which my sounds live.

Any advice? Thanks!

Hi George,

All FMOD objects have a [void userData] member which you can use to store your app specific data. Just cast to (void) when calling setUserData and cast the (void*) back to the original type when you call getUserData.

Works like a charm. Thanks!
