Is there any documentation of what the data we get back from the fft is?

I am figuring the float value is the amplitude of the frequency depending on the number of values you specify. Hence if I specify 10,000 values I will get the frequency spectrum divided in to 10,000 parts.

What I want to know is; what are the extremes of that spectrum? 20-20kHz.

Is the spectrum divided linearly i.e. 20Hz,22,24,26,28,30,….19998,20000Hz
or
Logarithmically i.e. 20,40,80,160,320,640,1280,2560,5120,10240,20480

Yes there is, check "getSpectrum" in the chm docs file. In the remarks section it explains what the output is.
