What would happen if I made a demo/game that and played the media in 3D and a user plays the demo/game and their computer does not support 3D sounds would the media be played in 2D or would it not be played at all?

Cool thanks for the reply, I did search the docs but I didn’t see any commments on this topic maybe I over looked it.

Well the feauter that I was going to use was FSOUND_PlaySound3DAttrib but in the remarks section it been rendered OBSOLETE. So I guess I’ll use the streamer one or DSP.

Ah well I was going to ask another question but I’ll just search the docs to see if an answer if found there, the question is still about 3D though. Just using DSP or one of the Attribs.

Oh COOL it’s still ther smiles for everyone .

Hey no prob. we all make mistakes. Well now that I know that it’s still in the API I guess I’ll gone and use it still.

You said in version 3.4 it will work backwards does that mean you use the same code that currently exsist or does that mean that you add some backwards code to it? Just curious, because I’ve never heard of that.
