Hi all,

in my app I’m waiting for commands to work with signal from the microphone or from a saved file.

When working with the mic, all works ok — I store in a looping sample, I play it mute, I get its spectrum, then I detect signals with certain properties.
However, when working with the saved file, I get an exception leading to crtexe.c, line 607:
[code:qpp0i0mi]
/*
* Note that if the exe is managed app, we don’t really need to
* call exit or _c_exit. .cctor should be able to take care of
* this.
*/
607 if ( !managedapp )
608 exit(mainret);
[/code:qpp0i0mi]

Except the source of the sound, the code is the same for both types of inputs.
Has anyone ever encountered something like this?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Cristina,

What kind of exception is it, an access violation?

Are you checking the FMOD_RESULT returned from all your FMOD function calls?

Thank you for your answer, Peter! In the meantime, I don’t think anymore that it is an FMOD-related error, so I’m going to move my questions to more appropriate forums :)
