Hi, was wondering if anyone can lend me a hand setting up ambient sounds in fmod, I have set their 3d Parameters in fmod designer, and tested it in fmod sandbox so that it works how I want it to. The Problem I am having is finding out what kind of object to create in order to play the sound within the level. I have something within fmod called vectors, and tried to position the sounds using this but so far but am having problems in that it will either always be full volume or zero volume depending on how i changed the 3d min and max radius.
Is vectors the correct way to position such sounds? and does anyone have any advice on how to get basic ambience in?
Many thanks

Hi thegingerdom,

This sounds like your world scale is different to the min/max distance properties set in FMOD Designer. The easiest way to work this out is just measure the distance to the listener in game and compare that to your min/max distance values. Your game might have a different scale to FMOD Sandbox.

Also make sure you’re calling EventSystem::update regularly.
