Hello.

My name is Chris and I am making an media player for my college GUI class.

After much hassle, I got FMOD playing a sound using the system, sound, channel method. I was looking around at how to pause music using this method and I couldn’t find anything but I did stumble across the FSOUND stuff which seemed a lot more like what I wanted to use because it has all the pause stuff built in.

So I tried to use the FSOUND area of FMOD and nothing is working. I have all the correct ".h"s, ".hpp"s, libs and the dll in place but I cant seem to get it working.

Any help is much appreciated.

Did Channel::setPaused() not do what you wanted?

FMOD version 3 (the FSOUND stuff) is no longer supported, I believe. You’re better off with version 4 (the system, sound, channel method) anyhow.
