Had a quick search and couldn’t find any answers on this, so I hope it’s okay to start a new topic.

In short, I need to be able to have narrative dialogue take precedence over functional dialogue. So that when narrative is playing, the background chatter is turned off (as well as vice versa, so that the chatter is cut short when the narrative kicks in).

I’ve tried using priority and steal priority to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

You probably need to handle this in your own code, at a higher level than regular FMOD, probably within some sort of dialog manager class.
