Hi,

I’ve found some topics about this subject (like this one : http://52.88.2.202/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11520) which talk about using time-stretching libraries like SoundTouch or Rubber Band Audio.

As these topics have been posted one year ago, I would like to know if new method/solution have been found?

Else what is the best solution with these libraries? (complexity/performance/sound quality/platform).

Thanks.

FMOD has it’s own internal time-invariant pitch shifter which you can use for this purpose. It favours performance over quality so there is a limit to how much you can slow down or speed up something. I would reccomend trying the FMOD pitch shifter, first.

complexity: same as the rest of FMOD API
performance: good
sound quality: reasonable
platform: everything supported by FMOD API

Thanks for the answer, I tried this solution (frequency changing + pitch shifting) and it’s working indeed :)
