Hello, i have a problem with the network tweaking feature in fmod designer. (v4.31.04)
The designer successfully connects to my running game, but this seems to be it. No matter what i change in the events, it has no reaction in the running game. I have no idea what i am doing wrong.

What i did:

[code:2b81zzaj]
Init code:

FMOD::EventSystem_Create(&fmodEventSystem);
FMOD::NetEventSystem_Init(fmodEventSystem);
fmodEventSystem->getSystemObject(&fmodSystem);
fmodEventSystem->init(128, FMOD_INIT_ENABLE_PROFILE, 0, FMOD_EVENT_INIT_NORMAL);
fmodEventSystem->setMediaPath(mediaPath);
fmodEventSystem->load("Autos.fev", 0, 0);

Per frame:

fmodEventSystem->update();
FMOD::NetEventSystem_Update();

[/code:2b81zzaj]

I have following DLLs in the game-directory:
fmodex.dll
fmod_event.dll
fmod_event_net.dll

Is there some extra special code necessary after starting events?

Anyone an idea?

Thanks,
Michael Bittner

EDIT: I forgot to mention that my Title uses "Games for Windows Live". Is there any incompatibility?

I have the same problem on the X360, so its unlikely to be a problem from GfWL.

Thanks for all your help… 😉

I found the problem. You must install for each event a callback function, even if its empty, just returning FMOD_OK. Now it works.
