When my character walks into a reverb zone how do I make it so the change to reverb is gradual instead of suddenly. Is there any way to fade in the wet level?

Hi grammo106,

You can do this by setting the min and max distance parameters with FMOD::Reverb::set3DAttributes() along with FMOD::System::setReverbAmbientProperties() which will set the reverb properties outside of the reverb spheres. Set the wet level to ‘off’ on the ambient reverb so that there is no reverb when the listener is outside of the max distance sphere. The reverb then fades in gradually as the listener approaches the min distance sphere. Please refer to the ‘3D reverb tutorial’ in the FMOD Ex documentation.
