Hi all, as the title suggests really – we have recently upgraded to 4.31.04. I have the most recent 360 xdk (july), Xbox 360 is in the project platform list (in the top right) but when I goto build the project its missing from the list! :(

Also – on older versions, the platform you had selected in the top right would be the one that appears when you go to build. The new version doesnt seem to do that is that correct?

Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem recently when installing Fmod Designer 2010 (4.31.04).

When it did build for Xbox, I was getting some ‘xma encoder dll’ problem.

I could only get it to work by installing an older version of designer first, then installing the Fmod API (xbox version) then upgrade Designer.

BTW – Should this thread be moved to the Console list, even though it’s more specific to Designer…?

yeah look for the xmaencoder2.dll in the xbox360 API, then drop it in the FMOD designer executable directory, and the 360 version should appear.
I think we’ll re-look at this to see if we can either allow everything by default or some more streamlined way of doing it.

Fixed! Thanks guys! :)
I didnt have the 360 api installed, just designer. So I had to install the 360 api and copy the said file into my designer directory.

Incidentally, I fixed a bug with xbox360 dll detection last week. Everything should work fine in our next release.
