I want to play the same sound effect multiple times but I am having a couple problems.

If I use FMOD_CHANNEL_FREE with FMOD_System_PlaySound it works but after a minute or so the sound stop working. I’m assuming all the channels have been filled up. How do I tell FMOD to free channels where the sound has finished playing?

Right now, I use FMOD_CHANNEL_REUSE which works but the first instance of the played sound gets cut-off if I play the same sound again.

I have the same problem here. The music is playing and then when i change to another sound, it’s only play for 1 second and then it’s cut-off. First I though that it was by the max channels, but it is not. I’m really desesperate, I’m proving many ways to solve.

Is the sound actually ending? Do you call Channel::stop anywhere? If either – then the channels wont ‘fill up’.
